Your Old Droog Has A Heavy News Crush On Tamron Hall (Audio)

Heads can relate to this one… no matter your preferences, chances are at some point in your life, you’ve crushed on a news anchor, if not a weather-person, on the scene reporter, sports, etc. Well, leave it to the soulful Your Old Droog to seemingly be the first Hip-Hop artist to dedicate a whole song to this concept.

Droog, who is set to have a public coming out party in less than a month at New York City’s Webster Hall alongside Rast RFC and Timeless Truth, sends a message to veteran broadcast news reporter, personality, and anchor, Tamron Hall. With a smooth vocal sample-driven ’70s Soul beat, Droog just serenades the woman on his afternoon TV screen, and eloquently states why she makes his days better. It’s a fine line between funny and creepy, but seems to land in the realm of just a common man telling an attractive professional likely beyond his arm’s reach that he’s a serious admirer.
