Big Sean Sprinkles Fans With 4 New Songs, With Involvement From E-40, Kanye West & DJ Mustard (Audio)

Big Sean isn’t playin’. Less than 24 hours after announcing his rockin’ with Roc Nation, the Detroit, Michigan MC hits Heads with four new songs.

Here’s the breakdown:

“Paradise”

Produced by Mike WiLL Made It, this Bounce-themed joint finds Sean reaching into his bag of verbal tricks, and coming out with the wordplay that made his mixtapes rise to the top of 2008-2011.

“I Don’t Fuck With You” featuring E-40

Produced by DJ Mustard AND Kanye West, this Bay Area party-hopper includes E-40. Talkin’ down on the triflin’ exes, Sean gets extra mannish, with the O.G. beside him. Chances are you haven’t heard Sean like this, on this type of track… but marks the beginning of a G.O.O.D x Sick-Wid-It working history, and the results can be quite pleasing.

 “Jit/Juke”

Produced by Nate Fox (Chance The Rapper) and Da Internz (Rick Ross), this catchy tune combines an electric piano sample with mid-tempo percussion. This is Sean in his usual environment, but zoning into the Chicago movement.

“4th Quarter”

Produced by G.O.O.D’s latest go-to Key Wane, this song sounds worthy of a street single in Sean’s existing two-album trajectory. The beat has many movements, and Sean flips words with cleverness, touching on celebrity nude leaks, admitting he’s surprised he wasn’t included, along with some potent lines about relationships, and his new Roc Nation affiliation.

Does this new work sound promising to you?
