With snippets only surfacing in the past, Chris Brown’s X album (September 16) collaboration with Kendrick Lamar surfaces in full. “Autumn Leaves” is just in time for the seasonal shift, as well as welcomed new music from two of the finest at their craft, living under the Los Angeles skyline.

Kendrick Lamar’s verse in particular tries out an extremely clever, syncopated rhyme scheme that employs repetition with a poet’s care.

With Pop on lock, and some highly-prominent R&B beginnings, do you think this next wave on Chris Brown’s career will coin him as a master within Soul?
