Rah Digga is not playing any games in 2014. The latest microphone seizure comes as “Angela Davis.” Over a sparse guitar loop, a la Just Blaze x Jay Z in the Roc-A-Fella pinnacle, Digga is cold as can be. She compares herself to the political and Civil Rights activist Angela Davis, criticizing the foolish depictions she feels in the media.

Along the way, the former Outsidaz affiliate says she’s in solidarity with fellow ‘Jersey girl,’ Lauryn Hill, yet stands apart from Beyonce. The song is charged and direct, and one of the best sounding tracks (this one is by J-Pilot) heard by Harriett since her Flipmode days.
