Keith Murray Talks His Career, With Crooked I & Wale Joining Sway’s Party (Video)

Keith Murray can be a movie. Just like he is on his heralded Jive (and later, Def Jam) Records albums, the Central Islip MC is animated as ever. On a recent Sway In The Morning episode (also featuring Crooked I), the Def Squad MC opines on the greatest Rap record of all time (made one of his mentors, no less).

The Long Island MC talks a gang of things, from being recognized while on the phone in an airport men’s room. He wants to bet with Twista on his (now passed) battle with ONYX’s Fredro Starr. K.M. even kicks a really charged, completely unique freestyle, callin’ out Diddy for branding a new Biggie (seemingly Rick Ross, and Keith and The Notorious B.I.G were close homies).

Enter Wale, and his crew. Keith shouts out Meek Mill, and Wale waves off notions that he and his Maybach Music Group bandmate had any lasting beef. Murray interjects throughout, in this truly organic, unscripted 20 minutes of radio on television…

Bonus: Watch Keith Murray’s awkward greeting(s) with Wale (13:00 mark)…

Think Keith is intoxicated in this moment, or just full of life?
