All of the 36 Seasons are heating up!

For the second weekday in a row, Ghostface Killah unleashes some new content. “The Battlefield” is one of the several appearances by Kool G Rap and AZ on the Tommy Boy Records LP. Also including The Revelations’ vocalist Tre Williams, this cut breaks down the hard skin it takes to make it in the gritty, shaky world were police want to deliberately paint street figures as snitches, fathers walk out on mothers, and wolves lurk around every corner trying to take whatever they can have.

The chemistry between these three lyrical icons is spot on, which comes as no surprise to any Heads who really sat with 2009’s Wu Chamber Music.
