Fresh off of a partnership announced with Jamla Records and W.A.R. Media, Talib Kweli’s Javotti Media platform is out to make major moves. Javotti, who has been behind ‘Kweli’s post-Warner Bros. Records releases (in conjunction with Duck Down Music on Gutter Rainbows), has released a mixtape, The Cathedral.

Pharoahe Monch, Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T. join a heavy dose of new Talib music. Also involved are the Javotti camp artists, which includes Res (Idle Warship) and longtime UGK producer/Bun B affiliate, Cory Mo.

After deals with Rawkus Records, MCA/Geffen, and then Warner, (in addition to his and Corey Smyth’s Blacksmith Music), how do you think Javotti will do will added exposure?
