Earl Hayes, Former 50 Cent, Timbaland & Dr. Dre Collaborator, Involved In Murder Suicide
In some difficult news, rapper Earl Hayes (who also went simply by “Hayes”) was found dead today (December 8) in Los Angeles, California. Authorities allege that Hayes fatally shot his girlfriend, dancer and “Hit The Floor” television star Stephanie Mosely, before turning the gun on himself in what has been reported to be a murder-suicide.
Details are still emerging surrounding the tragic news, though TMZ.com confirmed the reports. With more than five years in the music industry, Detroit, Michigan native Earl Hayes had worked with the likes of Too Short, Black Rob, 50 Cent, Timbaland, and Dr. Dre.
Notably, Hayes appeared on 50 Cent’s 2012 project, 5. Since the Dre and Tim’ co-signs, Hayes signed a contract with boxer Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team record label.
