Kurupt Projects Are A Welcomed Treat. Moon Rock Weighs A Ton (Mixtape)
Although Tha Dogg Pound has been enjoying the free music circuit as of late, co-founder Kurupt is a Rap veteran not typically associated with mixtapes. Out of nowhere, Kuruption’s Moon Rock hit Earth today. The 23-track free tape features a plethora of new music from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-born, South Central Los Angeles-raised MC who was one of the fiercest MCs of the early ’90s Death Row Records movement.
Moon Rock includes Battlecat production, and features Wiz Khalifa, B Real, Too Short, and brother Roscoe (n/k/a Scoe). Additionally, the lunar look includes Kendrick Lamar’s dedication to Kurupt, “Kurupted.”
As a bonus, the tape is hosted by legendary Southern California radio personality/Ruthless Records affiliate Julio G.
