Yesterday (December 18), Wale announced that he will release Festivus, his latest “Seinfeld”-inspired mixtape right in time for the holidays on December 23. As a non-tape preview track, the Maybach Music Group MC unleashed “Miracle On U Street,” taking a Christmas-inspired title and applying it to his world.

Looking at the last five-plus years, Wale takes audit of his fame, success, and Rap status on a Go-Go-inspired up-tempo track by MMG producer Tone P & That Boy Good. The results work, as Wale Folarin vibes into the instrumentation, finds his pocket, and rockets as he did on those early Nick Catchdubs mixtapes, even if now he’s at a whole ‘nother level in the game.
