Wu-Tang Clan Members React To Logo Copycats & Tributes (Video)

The “W” has taken on a life of its own over the last 21 years. Wu-Tang Clan’s logo design has become not only a legal trademark, but a brand unto itself. From traditional goods like shirts, posters, skullies to mouse-pads, custom-painted Volkswagen Beetles, and a bevy of tattoos, this logo has taken on a life of its own.

Sitting down with MTV News leading into the just-released A Better Tomorrow album, RZA, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna react to some of the far-reaching logo uses. While Masta Killa, who formerly did vegetarian ad campaigns for PETA, appreciates the mock Whole Foods t-shirt, U-God admits that the re-purposed Hello Kitty hybrid reminds him of a particular “porno chick.” The collective breaks down super-fans, weird encounters, and globe-trotting that Witty Unpredictable Talent And Natural Game has done in symbol, and reality.

Have you bought Wu-Tang albums on release day historically? Will you be coppingĀ  A Better Tomorrow today?
