DMC, Chuck D, PMD, MC Serch & Terminator X Come Together With An Edge (Video)

Twenty five Januaries ago, in 1990…could you have imagined Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Chuck D, Parrish “PMD” Smith, MC Serch, and Terminator X together? The thought alone drains boombox D-batteries, and makes speakers shudder.

In 2015, these things are not only possible, but able to be captured on video. “Hellraisers” is an updated take on Run-D.M.C.’s “Raising Hell,” that aligns four aggressive MC voices from the 1980s (and beyond) and combines them with one of Hip-Hop’s most charged DJs, Terminator X. Heads know that the former Public Enemy member makes very few appearances these days, signifying just how big this cut is. DJ Eclipse, another legendary DJ (behind Non-Phixion and La Costa Nostra) is involved, as well as veteran New York City producer Big K.O. (D12, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes). As the title suggests, these Hip-Hop icons of boom-bap are still out to wake the dead!

The video speaks for itself, but as a grand gesture of unified MC and DJ fronts, this is simply mammoth:

In true school fashion, this is right to clear vinyl, available from Fat Beats—who Eclipse remains involved with.
