Kenn Starr’s Comeback LP Features Some Scorching Black Milk & Kev Brown Sounds (Album Stream)

Tomorrow (January 27), DMV music scene veteran Kenn Starr will release his sophomore album, Square One. As the title suggests, the LP is a return to form for one of Oddisee’s earliest collaborators, and a member of the Low Budget crew that includes Oddy, Kev Brown, Peter Rosenberg, and Sean Born, among others. Nine years ago, Kenn dropped Starr Status, on the now defunct Halftooth Records.

This time around though, Kenn’s Mello Music Group label-mate Oddisee sits out production duties, while Kev Brown and Black Milk jump in. Heads can hear the whole album in advance, as Mello likes to do:
