MTV Has Uncovered A Raw Interview With Ol’ Dirty Bastard From 1997 (Video)

One of the introductory members to New York’s mega Hip-Hop group, Wu-Tang Clan, Ol’ Dirty Bastard left the Earth and the Wu far too early at the young age of 35, just a little over a decade ago in 2004.

Today in 2015, MTV has linked up with Genius to unearth some of Hip-Hop’s most memorable moments in New York Hip-Hop from 1997 to 1998, and their first release comes in the form of a never before seen interview with the aforementioned ODB. In the video, the 28 year old gets incredibly personal about life and love, delving into conversations regarding his 13 children and his family (0:30), his issues with drugs and alcohol (6:00), what a day in the life of Ol’ Dirty was like (24:00), what to expect from the last album he ever officially released, Nigga Please (26:00), and what true love looks like through the eyes of one of Wu-Tang’s most unique MCs (31:00).
