With a moving 14KT-produced track, El’ gets to work sifting through the perplexities of the shortest month of the year, and some of the things going on in his mind, and those around him. For an MC so stellar at concept, this stream of consciousness moment (that still has obvious theme) is really potent. Listen close, and you’ll hear the former Slum Village member reference how February gave the world J Dilla, and then also took him away.
