The last decade has been a quieter one for Mr. Cheeks. Since his days with The Lost Boyz, the Queens, New Yorker certainly scored solo success, making party music rooted in vibes. However, when the LBFam front man hits the mic, he’s still got it in full—evident in his appearances on albums by G-Dep, Craig G, and Lords Of The Underground founder DoItAll.

Cheeks is active in 2015 though. Just days after releasing his “More n More” single, presumably from an upcoming full-length on RBC Records, Terrance Kelly shines in the wings for emerging MC Chatham The SUN. Statik Selektah lays down a cut-heavy track for “Somethin’ For You & YOU” with some sweet vocal riffs, while Cheeks plays the set-up, giving that Love, Peace, and Nappiness vibe. This is feel-good music, with some classic-minded Hip-Hop production behind it.
