Onetime Eminem Affiliate SKAM2? Teams With M1 To Redefine “Gangsta” (Video)

Record-buying Heads from the late ’90s know SKAM2? Even if you weren’t hittin’ the crates, chances are, you do too. The Miami, Florida native designed the cover art for A Tribe Called Quest’s Beats, Rhymes & Life album, along with various artwork for Eminem, Naughty By Nature, and others.

But more than a graphic artist, the MC who came up with DJ Spinna and The Jigmastas crew is a lyricist. SKAM2? released two singles with Eminem (referenced in “Stan”), and has since worked with a litany of Hip-Hop acts large and small. In all of that time though, he’s kept a low profile, avoided putting his face out there, and never released a studio album.

That’s all changing, as Flying Monkey Murder Cirkus is coming. First video single, “Definition” sheds light on SKAM, alongside dead prez’s M1 as the two men use a classic N.W.A. riff to define what being a G in 2015 ought to look like.
