Pro Era’s Kirk Knight Gets Rowdy On His First Album Single (Audio)

With Joey Bada$$ making maneuvers on the charts, Heads can expect the Pro Era team to be ramping up retail production. Kirk Knight, who’s been a star within the circle, might just be next. Although details are extremely slim surrounding Kirk’s album—including so much as a title, the Brooklyn, New Yorker is showcasing his first single.

“Brokeland” uses hard drums and a menacing delivery to make it simple and plain that money is a major issue within the Era, and there’s nothin’ nice about comin’ up with pings in one’s stomach in a cold world. The self-produced cut will surely illicit comparisons to some Originoo Gun Clappaz, Sticky Fingaz, and Blahzay Blahzay, among others.

Think Kirk has what it takes to stand on his own two in the industry?
