Are There 3 Hotter Rappers In 2015 Than Big Sean, Drake & Kanye West? (Video)

Although 2015 is only in its third month, are there three bigger Rap artists for the current calendar than Big Sean, Drake, and Kanye West?

Kanye’s latest media swarm has everybody abuzz, leading up to God Help Me. Drake shocked the universe last month with his second gold-selling mixtape, If You’re Reading This Its Too Late. Meanwhile, in terms of released studio albums, Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise has everybody talking, with a possible #1, which would be his first. Included on that LP is “Blessings,” a track featuring Sean, Drizzy, and ‘Ye celebrating the G.O.O.D. life.

Perhaps not since Drake’s own 2009 breakthrough “Forever” has there been such a unified front among Rap’s elite on one song. For the just-released visual, Kanye’s recent penchant for black & white portrait videos continues, with all three artists shown in somber settings, in the moment, just as the song exemplifies:

Given a past that’s included Big Sean and Drake flow originality discussions, disparaging Rolling Stone interview comments from Drake about Kanye West’s last album, and a possible YMCMB exodus for Drake, is this a calculated move, or a reminder to how fickle “headlines” really can be about three creatives in solidarity?
