Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Perform Crossroads on ESPN’s Sports Nation (Video)

The NBA Playoffs are upon us—and if you didn’t know, Blake Griffin rattled the universe and the rim with three monstrous dunks Sunday night (April 19). The Los Angeles Clippers star Center made an example of several San Antonio Spurs in their 107-92 win, arguably none more than Aron Baynes.

Four L.A. transplants were particularly impressed with Griffin. Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-N-Bone appeared on ESPN’s “Sport Nation.” There, wearing Cleveland Cavaliers jerseys, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rocked their 1996 hit, “Tha Crossroads” to apparently make light of the Spurs’ embarrassing loss, and honor Blake and the Clip Show. Bizzy, who appeared on the double-platinum Eazy-E tribute, did not lace up for the appearance.

In the background of the in-studio performance, viewers and attendees can see a loop of Griffin’s three massive dunks on Baynes:

Do you think it cheapens the sacred song to perform it in a humorous light, or bring new-found attention to an independent Hip-Hop classic?
