Affected by the murder of Freddie Gray, and moved by the protests of the people in Baltimore, Maryland, Prince has announced “Rally 4 Peace.”

The Minnesota musical icon will host a performance for Sunday May 10 at Royal Farms Arena. Joined by his band 3rd Eye Girl, Prince publicized the show by sharing lyrics to a song (tentatively titled “Baltimore Song”) inspired by the events:

Nobody got in nobody’s way
So I guess you could say
It was a good day
At least a little better than the day in Baltimore
Does anybody hear us pray?
For Michael Brown or Freddie Gray
Peace is more than the absence of war
Absence of war

Are we gonna see another bloody day?
We’re tired of cryin’ and people dyin’
Let’s take all the guns away
Absence of war—you and me
Maybe we can finally say
Enough is enough, it’s time for love
It’s time to hear
It’s time to hear
The guitar play!

According to Okayplayer, the early sales of tickets drew price tags beyond $1,000 per seat. With that, Prince has now revealed that his rally will be streamed for free, via Jay Z’s Tidal platform. OKP adds, “the live stream will indeed be a free one, but patrons can donate to a number of local charities in lieu of paying that sky-high fee for a ticket stub.”

Prince is now said to have several guests on board for Rally 4 Peace, beyond him and his band.

Will you tune in?
