“Pump Ya Brakes” is another standout from Diamond D’s 2014 album, The Diam Piece. On an upbeat composition, the Diggin’ In The Crates producer/MC aligns Rapsody, Stacy Epps, and Boog Brown for a lyrical exhibition from some of the nicest in the game. North Carolina to Atlanta to New York City comes together on the mic and in the flesh, as Diamond also appears in his latest in an onslaught of visuals.

From Fat Joe to Big L, Xzibit to The Fugees, Diamond D has an ear for MCs at their boiling point. Perhaps “Pump Ya Brakes” is a proper warning sign to step away from the stove.
