With over 25 years combined in Hip-Hop, artists like Lupe Fiasco and Consequence are still out to make music that counts in 2015. This year alone has already graced Heads with Lupe’s Windy City inspired album, Tetsuo & Youth, while the Queens-bred Consequence is still prepping the drop of his second studio album, Start Your Own Business.

Today, the two MCs combine their lyrical efforts, alongside Chris Turner’s crooning hook, in the form of their latest single, “Countdown.” Soulful, lively instrumentals from ‘Quence himself and producer Mike Cash allow the two to do a bit of flexing, index fingers skyward.
