DJ Premier Helps Canada’s First Division Go For The Pennant (Audio)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home. But, there are doubters, so, we need your help. If you have enjoyed anything on AFH over the last 7 years, we are asking you to subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

First Division are a Canadian duo, with some deeper history in Rap. One of the members, Shylow, may be familiar to Marco Polo album/mixtape supporters. Crossing the border for “This Iz The Time,” F.D. teams with DJ Premier. Preemo laces the Soulspazm-backed pair with chops, cuts, and samples very much like Heads heard from him in the 2000s, including Gang Starr’s The Ownerz album.

Lovers of hardcore Hip-Hop that sounds intended for 12″ pressing, rejoice. This is from the upcoming Overworked & Underpaid.
