New Jersey native !llmind was a critical part of Joell Ortiz’ 2014 album, House Slippers. Moving into 2015, the producer for Kanye West, Scarface, and Sean Price takes on Ortiz’ whole project, for an equal billing.

“Lil’ Piggies” is the first glimpse from the July 17 project, Human. !llmind lays down a beat different than Joell and Slaughterhouse Heads may be used to. Quirky, electronic, and out of step with the traditional New York City sound, the work only evokes a more passionate delivery from the Brooklyn, New York MC. Built around a nursery rhyme, there is nothing infant about Ortiz’ monstrous flow, and empowered bars:
