A DJ Blends 3 Pete Rock Verses With 7 Petestrumentals (Audio)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home. But, there are doubters, so, we need your help. If you have enjoyed anything on AFH over the last 7 years, we are asking you to subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

Pete Rock is one of Hip-Hop’s most lethal triple-threats. The Mount Vernon, New Yorker produces, he DJs, and he raps—doing all of the above at a high level over the last 25-plus-years. In response to his recent Petestrumentals 2 release with Mello Music Group, Brooklyn, New York-based DJ Rashiiid cleverly re-assembled two of Pete’s skills.

‘Shid took three verses from throughout P.R.’s career, and combined them with seven of The Chocolate Boy Wonder’s “Petestrumentals.” Amidst a recent media coverage onslaught surrounding the former Elektra Records artist, this only advances the conversation.
