Hopsin Lyrically Attacks Higher Education, Reality TV & Chemical Addictions (Video)

Set as a classroom final project, Hopsin’s “Fly” is a lyrical thesis. The Funk Volume co-founder sets up Pound Syndrome (July 24) with a verbal exposé on things that he sees in this world that are designed to hold us back.

Despite the academic setting of the visual, Hop’ begins by calling out colleges and universities—or more so, the notion that degrees are must-have’s. He moves on to shoot down reality television, cigarettes, fast food, and a whole lot of the things trapping his generation and that of us his fans. With fiery rapping and a soothing chorus, this presentation is polished. Do you agree with it?
