Meek Millie takes 5 Fingers Of Death as a challenge, admitting—in the middle of it—that he’s “rusty.” That rust vanishes abruptly in places. This freestyle truly captures who he is, and what Meek brings to Hip-Hop.

The moment may not be as seamless as some other artist’s appearances in the hot seat, but Meek truly goes in for what seems to be a mixture of verses in his head, and some impromptu play later on. The street artist who had been putting out mixtapes since the mid-2000s addresses Lil Snupe’s murder with some cold words for the killer, in between calling out an overall softness in the industry.
