In one fell swoop, N.O.R.E. weaves all of his styles into one song. “How Ever” backs down any tough-talking challengers, with sheer confidence, street savvy, and O.G. wisdom. But the MC known as Noreaga manages to incorporate his love of old-fashioned cassette-style Hip-Hop in this “ButchRock Blend.”

Like some of the throwback-minded material of 2014, N.O. plays on some Soul II Soul and some Juice Crew doing his verbal B-Boy schtick. From War Report-era fans to more modern Capone-N-Noreaga Heads, there’s a lot to vibe out to with this summertime blend that refreshes like lemonade:
