Earlier this year, New Orleans’ resident Spitta Curren$y released Pilot Talk 3, his fifth studio album and one that was highly anticipated, as it had been five years since the first two albums of the Pilot Talk series were released. Only a few weeks later, he dropped the E.P. Even More Saturday Car Tunes, making him one of the most ambitious artists in the game. Just last month, it was announced that he would be a headliner at Atlanta’s A3C Festival and as if he wasn’t busy enough, he just dropped a surprise E.P. called Cathedral.

The Jet Life frontman took to Twitter to make the official announcement, saying “Sorry we didn’t warn u earlier…. It didn’t exist until yesterday hahaha.” The seven-track project is produced entirely by NOLA producer/MC Chase N. Cash, and while Curren$y is known for releasing projects featuring a single producer, this signals the first time the two New Orleans natives have worked on a collaborative effort.
