Mick Jenkins’ Wave[s] Continues To Hydrate Minds After The Water[s] (EP Stream)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home, but we need your help to make it great. Please subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

One year to the day after The Water[s], Chicago, Illinois MC Mick Jenkins returns to the shore with The Wave[s]. The Cinematic Entertainment artist follows his acclaimed breakthrough with 29 minutes, and nine tracks. Production duties include Sacramento, California veteran Lee Bannon (Joey Bada$$, Souls Of Mischief) and Montreal, Quebec’s KAYTRANADA (Mobb Deep, Vic Mensa).

Many of the themes and vibes heard on the 2014 release are further explored on this release, the second high-profile effort to be premiered through NPR’s First Listen stream. The EP formally releases on August 21.
