Big Boi & Phantogram Team With Run The Jewels & L.A. Reid On New EP (Tracklist)

UPDATE: Additional information has released regarding Big Boi & Phantogram’s project. An EP, the work is called Big Grams, and will release September 25. Coming on Epic Records, this is the latest reunion between Big Boi and Outkast mentor L.A. Reid.

The eight song EP features Dungeon Family affiliates Run The Jewels (Killer Mike & El-P) as well as Skrillex. Here is the artwork and tracklist:

It has been two-and-a-half years since Big Boi’s last album. 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors Def Jam Records release, the Outkast co-founder has revealed that he has plans of an upcoming collaborative effort. Daddy Fat Sax will join New York City Electronic-Rock duo Phantogram for a presumed 2015 release. The Grammy Award-winning MC/producer confirmed the news via Instagram, noting that the yet-untitled album had completed recording.

Phantogram’s John Carter and Sarah Barthel worked on three Vicious Lies tracks, in a featured capacity, as well as production. Additionally, the Republic Records pair has worked with The Flaming Lips and Gangrene’s Welcome To Los Santos video game soundtrack.

Since Vicious Lies, Big Boi has worked with Maroon 5, in addition to onetime proteges Killer Mike (care of Run The Jewels) and Janelle Monae.
