20 Years Later, Logic Has The Perfect Visual For New Jersey Drive (Video)

One year after he challenged best-of-2014 lists with Under Pressure, Logic is back with The Incredible True Story. The Maryland MC and Def Jam Records sensation is striking while he’s hot on November 13, and has a captive audience seemingly loving his every move—with good reason.

The latest, “Young Jesus,” is a lot to love for Young Sinatra fans new and old. The Visionary Music Group artist has a visual that only enhances his commanding lyrical performance. Featuring fellow Ratt Pack member Big Lenbo, the track is a blank canvas for Logic’s versatile flows. He absolutely blanks out in many different rhyme patterns, grooving right into the beat. The song is some braggadocious back-and-forth between the two MCs, as the video transforms the track into a vivid car-jacking turned car-chase. Logic plays the villain and the cop hot on his trail. This is all while he and Lenbo (who also takes on multiple roles in the music video) present their bars to the camera with care.

Big Lenbo certainly seems like an MC to watch, thanks to this feature look.

Especially with a beat that stands out of time, would this not have been a great inclusion on either volume of the famed New Jersey Drive soundtrack?
