Two years to the month removed from the premier, self-titled Serial Killers mixtape project, Xzibit, B-Real, and Demrick (f/k/a Young De) are back at it with the bar brutality. “Hang ‘Em High” is the latest audio glimpse from Murder Show, coming October 30 from the Killers. Mr. X-to-the-Z in particular channels that fury in his delivery that transformed him from underground Hip-Hop luminary to one of the stars of the Up In Smoke/Anger Management era, alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, and the rest of the family. Tha Business, no stranger to large albums, provides a beat that sounds big in the speakers. The rasp, the agitation, and the perfect timing is alive in the onetime Loud Records star.

As the song’s title suggests, this is a wreckoning day for the wack, as these MCs go all in with their love of Horror-core, and inject that lyricism that’s made these veterans never have to pander. This will be the second project this year for the Funky Bilingual B-Real, who released The Prescription in February.
