Queens, New York MC Meyhem Lauren has been earning the attention from Heads thanks to his collaborations with the likes of Buckwild, a member of the legendary Diggin’ in the Crates (DITC) crew, and today he has dropped another hot collabo. Featuring Action Bronson (with whom he previously collaborated on the Buckwild-assisted “100 MPH”), Roc Marciano, Big Body Bes, and production from Harry Fraud, “Bonus Round” places Meyhem Lauren in the driver’s seat of a dope, gritty, New York-style Hip-Hop slap. Heads know Harry Fraud for his work with top-notch MCs like Curren$y and Smoke DZA, but also for his instrumental releases, most recently April’s Blue/Green E.P.

Last year, Meyhem Lauren dropped a collaborative project with Buckwild called Silk Pyramids, which also featured guests spots from Troy Ave, Thirstin Howl III, and P.F. Cuttin, among others. Fans of his devoured his 2012 mixtapes Respect the Fly Shit and Mandatory Brunch Meetings, both of which were heralded by outlets inside and out of the Hip-Hop blogosphere. Now, he’s getting ready for a solo studio venture, an album entitled Piatto D’Oro, Italian for “gold plate.” Scheduled to drop on Fools Gold Records in 2016, the album is now anchored by this all-star studded lead single and if it’s any indicator, Piatto D’Oro is going to be an instant classic.
