Big Daddy Kane Returns To Acting, Opposite Keanu Reeves In This Trailer (Video)

In addition to one of Rap’s most respected musical careers, Big Daddy Kane is also a professional actor. The Brooklyn, New York native starred in 1990s films like Meteor Man and Posse, before making a return to Hollywood in the 2000s.

Recently, Big Daddy Kane has been touring, recording, and releasing music with his band Last Supper. Simultaneously, the Juice Crew alum returned to the screen. B.D.K. stars opposite Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, Point Break) and Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore) in Exposed. The investigative crime thriller was shot during late 2014 and 2015 in New York City, including Kane’s native BK. The film also stars Jails, Hospitals and Hip-Hop author/actor Danny Hoch.

In related news, the film’s director, Gee Malik Linton, reportedly removed his name and credit from the Lionsgate works today (December 7) following the final editing cut.
