Three of Hip-Hop’s hungriest, lyrically-leaning New York MCs come together on the appropriately-titled “Mercenaries.” Emilio Rojas and Chris Rivers have been making noise for years, garnering excitement through freestyles, cyphers, guest appearances, and their own fully-produced songs. G. Fisher is the latest Diggin’ In The Crates-cosigned MC to come forth, and certainly seems to represent what the Bronx, New York-based Hip-Hop collective has established for more than 25 years.

Fisher hosts “Mercenaries,” which is built around  a hard guitar and drum track. Rojas raps incredibly fast, Rivers raps with impassioned delivery, and G comes in slow and low, with that hard-nosed bully-the-mic approach.
