Jadakiss & Nipsey Hussle Spend a Day on the Block, Where Some Things Never Change (Video)
On November 20, Jadakiss released Top 5 Dead or Alive, an album with an ambitious title but a fitting one for many Heads, considering its source. A day before, he dropped a heater of a track in “Rain,” featuring stand-out verses from Nas and Styles P. The same day as T5DOA’s release, the Lox MC dropped a video for the single “You Don’t Eat,” which features a guest appearance from Diddy, another longtime heavyweight whose most recently released album (MMM) was also a contender for most anticipated release of late 2015. Then, November 23 brought the release of the visuals for the Young Buck-assisted “Realest in the Game,” and today Jada is back with his third video, this time with Ne-Yo and Nipsey Hussle.
In “Ain’t Nothin New,” the three tremendously talented artists contribute to a “Day in the Life Of”-styled video which follows Jadakiss on an average day, from his barbershop visit, a cruise through his old neighborhood, stocking up at the local liquor store, and a sultry night out in the area’s hottest nightclub with his crew – much like many do on an average day on the block. But, as Jada et al make evident, sometimes envy from others can put a stop to life’s simple pleasures…Check out the video below.
