Murs & 9th Wonder Announce 6th Collaborative Album…Coming Today
In late 2012, Murs & 9th Wonder released The Final Adventure. The Jamla Records album was the fifth, and said to be final release from the pair—a Los Angeles, California MC and a North Carolina producer. The tandem’s work stemmed back to early 2004, with the acclaimed Definitive Jux release, Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition. In the time since, the Living Legends and Little Brother pair, respectively, have tackled the Top 200 of the charts, scored major label distribution, and partnered with street-wear brands for release.
It has been announced that a sixth album in the discography is planned. Today (December 31), the pair will release Brighter Daze at 12 o’clock noon EST. Information is limited at this time as to the terms of the release, though both artists have confirmed the effort through social media.
