Terrace Martin has been down with Kendrick Lamar and TDE since way back. So the Locke High horn player and producer takes a liberty, and throws his spin on what may very well be 2015’s most meaningful song. Martin takes To Pimp A Butterfly single “Alright” and runs it through his electro-Jazz workshop. The horns and new sounds complement the hopeful message, rooted in realness.

To his credit, the onetime Snoop Dogg protege worked on at least six of T.P.A.B. originals.

Who would you like to see remix Kendrick, and which song?
