This Gritty Mix Showcases RZA’s Deep Crates & The Wu-Tang Samples

RZA is one of Hip-Hop’s most celebrated producers. The Wu-Tang Clan Abbot not only gave his own clan a distinct set of sounds since the early 1990s, he provided dusty textures for The Notorious B.I.G., Cypress Hill, and AZ, among others.

Grand Finale amassed a collection of RZA-produced tracks for Wu-Tang group and solo projects, as well as some nice rarities. The mix-master links the gritty results with their funky, dusty, and obscure ingredients. More than just a basic sample-source mix, this reconstructs songs in a way that will have Heads bobbin’, and mugs lookin’ mean.

Syl Johnson, Melvin Bliss, The Dramatics, and Gordon Lightfoot are just some of the elements heard in this moving mix that rocks from the slums of Shaolin.
