Today (April 29), Freeway releases his fifth studio LP, Free Will (which is available for full stream). The North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania MC appeared on Sway In The Morning to celebrate the Babygrande Records release. With him, he brought his New Rothschilds protege, MC/producer Scholito.

Freeway comes from the State Property lineage that includes Beanie Sigel, Peedi Crakk, Young Chris, Neef Buck, and others. Thereby, the MC has a knack for talent. Young Scholito appears to be Freezer’s first protege in some time. For the first time on Sway’s platform, the former Roc-A-Fella Records standout charges into the track, celebrating his physical health and career stature. For an artist who came to prominence in battling, and has made more than a few memorable freestyles, Free’ shows why his name in the game still works. After Philadelphia Free’ attacks the subdued horn track, Scholito impresses Sway and company with a charismatic, City Of Brotherly Love-aimed verse that vows he will reach success, or else.
