Mistah F.A.B. Aims To Hoist The Trophy After This 7-Minute Freestyle (Video)

Mistah F.A.B. is a fixture at Golden State Warriors games. The Oakland, California MC just happened to time his latest album to release in the midst of the NBA franchise’s attempt at back-to-back championships. In promoting his star-studded work (Kendrick Lamar, Raekwon, Lupe Fiasco are just one cross-section of guests), Fabby Davis has been tearing up the freestyle circuit.

The veteran Hyphy artist’s stop at DJ Booth’s “Bless The Booth” is one of F.A.B.’s best showings. For seven minutes, the MC absolutely attacks the microphone in what appears to be an improvised line of bars dealing with his native city, sports references, and even a possibly too-soon Afrika Bambaataa punchline. Filmed in studio, one can watch the perspiration mount on this veteran freestyler’s face as he truly treats rapping as a sport, and stands tall as a champion athlete. This is subtitled “Heart Of Oakland,” which is something that Mistah F.A.B. proves to be, especially in mid-2016.
