In what serves as a commendable career milestone for Cincinnati, Ohio’s Donwill, his latest E.P. stop. waiting. signals both his debut as a producer and an entirely self-released project (by way of his Working Creative imprint). Having long since made New York City his home, Donwill has been releasing music alongside MC and producer Von Pea under the name Tanya Morgan for well over a decade. The two have also embarked on a new group venture, forming Lessondary alongside Che Grand, Ilyas Nashid, Rob Cave (fka Spec Boogie), Jermiside, Elucid, Aeon and Brickbeats.

While Che, Von, and Rob all make appearances on stop. waiting., the five-track collection is indeed a celebration of Don’s work as a stand-alone creative, particularly “Chime In,” one of the two songs without any guests.

Heads can pick up a copy of stop. waiting. at iTunes or Bandcamp, and each purchase includes a free zine designed by SOAP Goods Creative. As Donwill tells Ambrosia for Heads, Tanya Morgan is wrapping up and E.P. that will be available VERY soon, so stay tuned for that.
