At the top of the new year, Dres of the Black Sheep released a la carte single “Soul.” Produced by Chaundon of Little Brother fame (nka Finian St. Omer), the song finds the New York City veteran and Native Tongues member gettin’ loose overtop horns and some “Apache” vibes.

Now follows the visual. This is a straightforward treatment where the MC (who is celebrating a Black Sheep reunion tour this year) shows the environment that influenced so much lyrical style. After nearly 30 years of putting out hot tracks on wax, Dres still has “Soul” by the pound.
