Run The Jewels Run An Epic Heist With Big Boi & Danger Mouse (Video)

Naming themselves after an LL Cool J-inspired term for committing robbery, Run The Jewels do just that in a the new video for Danger Mouse’s latest single, which also features Big Boi. Together, they join forces to commit a complex heist, complete with an exciting, death-defying car chase through the streets.

“Chase Me” is all part of the promotional run for Baby Driver, an action/crime/comedy film starring Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, John Hamm, and others. As such, a few of the megastars make cameos in the music video, which also serves as a trailer for the film and its soundtrack. But the true stars of the clip are Killer Mike, El-P, Big Boi, and Danger Mouse, all of whom are down for the cause and help pull off a cunning robbery. High-caliber weapons, stacks of money, flashy vehicles, and of course unadulterated Hip-Hop share screen time in the mini-movie where the police, the banks, and the government get got.

The Andrew Donoho-directed video serves up a taste of what fans can expect from the forthcoming film, which tells the story of a getaway driver obsessed with music and who times his illegal maneuvers according to a playlist of his favorite records. In addition to Danger Mouse et al, Young MC, Kid Koala, Barry White, Queen, and many more will be featured on the soundtrack.

Baby Driver hits movie theaters on June 28.
