Slaine & Termanology Band Up & Break Loose On Statik Selektah Production (Video)

Massachusetts’ Termanology and Slaine team up to craft a project infused with diverse lyrics and perspectives that would mesh both of the fan bases into one.

Once self-proclaimed rivals, Slaine and Term’ began to work with each other over four yeas ago and decided to turn their friendly competition into album that displays their new harmonious and amicable relationship called Anti-Hero.

They recently released their first single “Land Of The Lost” produced by Statik Selektah, along with a gritty music video directed by Ill Mannered Films. The connection between the lyrics, production, and visual slaps the audience in the face with something that is raw, explicit, and profoundly hardcore.

While viewing Slaine and “Term’ Brady” spitting cut-throat lyrics in a condemned courtyard, the onlookers witness the vices of the citizens residing in the “Land Of The Lost,” which includes poverty, drug use, self-destruction.

During the time of recording Anti-Hero, Slain chose to face his struggles with substance abuse and started working on getting sober. Slaine describes these type of battles when he says, “I can’t find the words I wanna say when I’m try’na write / Having flash backs of Jack Daniels and the china white / Memories of Hennessy / Enemies I find to fight / A dime to light a 40 bag / A shorty who vagina’s tight / My story I rewind it / ‘Cause it serves as a reminder, right / The evils will corrupt you / Before they’ll cut you in the prime of life.

Anti-Hero is set to be released on all music-steaming services on October 6, 2017, with production and features from DJ Premier, Ras Kass, Everlast, Psycho Les, Bun B, Chris Rivers, The Arcitype, Conway The Machine, and Nems.
