A Ghostface Killah Lost Tapes Album Filled With All-Stars Is Coming. Here Is The 1st Song & Tracklist
In 2002, Nas famously released The Lost Tapes. The album reportedly pulled from records not used during the sessions for I Am…, Nastradamus, and Stillmatic. Boasting production from Alchemist, Kanye West, and Illmatic alum L.E.S., the Ill Will/Columbia Records release with the catchy artwork snuck into the Top 10, despite limited promotion.
Ghostface Killah has worked with Nas over the years. The former Def Jam Records label-mate of Nasir is taking a page from his friend’s book. On October 5, the Wu-Tang Clan MC music is being released as The Lost Tapes. While G.F.K.’s personal involvement is not clear at this time, the project is being carried out by Wu-Tang affiliate M-Eighty. HipHopDX broke the news and premiered a first song, “Saigon Velour” featuring Snoop and 40 Water premiered and album snippets, as well as the tracklist.

Although M-Eighty spoke to DX‘s Kyle Eustice, it is unclear when these songs were recorded. The Indiana native MC/producer said, “Our collective goal in calling it The Lost Tapes was to bring fans back to that Ironman/Supreme Clientele/[Only Built 4] Cuban Linx… era.” The project is produced by Big Ghost LTD, a prominent social media personality, beat-maker, and label-runner. He worked extensively on CRIMEAPPLE’s 2018 album Aguardiente, ANKHELJOHN’s Van Ghost, and Vic Spencer’s 2016 release The Ghost Of Living.
