Big K.R.I.T. Has Long Been A King. Now, He Celebrates Beautiful Queens

Born in North Dakota and raised in Georgia, Atlanta based artist Elhae’s career in music began with his family in church. After learning to play the piano, compose his own music, and sing alongside his mother in the local church’s choir, Elhae’s passion grew. Since, Elhae released his first official debut album, All Have Fallen, in 2016, and the 2017 EP, AURA II, featuring Eric Bellinger and Ty Dolla $ign.

This year, Elhae hits the market with his second full length feature, Trouble In Paradise. After releasing a video for the album’s Caribbean inspired introductory single, “Hennessey,” the 28 year old casts away tropical visuals yet again.

Opening up on the cotton candy skied beaches of Cuba, Elhae croons with purpose over church inspired production. As he worships the ways of a woman with a parish’s prose, Elhae peruses the streets of Cuba playing dominoes and meandering through it’s colonial architecture.

Back on the beaches, Big K.R.I.T. enters the fold to deliver a quick, supportive sermon dedicated to the championing of a wonderful woman in his life.

“Hey shawty, is it okay if I give you praise? / It’s almost like I’m addicted to your amazing grace / Your glow just keep me in a daze / Make me wanna raise my hands and stomp my feet / I could meditate in your temple for weeks, you / Bring out the best in me / Angelic, gifted, forever givin’ your all and all / You’re evidently like Heaven with it, that’s why I call / I know your doors is always open, that’s if I’m ready / I’m grateful that I was chosen and I’m hoping I can come off in your sanctuary, cruisin'”
