Nipsey Hussle Has Been Shot And Killed

UPDATE: Approximately one hour after news broke of this afternoon’s shooting, TMZ has now reported that Nipsey Hussle is dead, at 33 years old. While details continue to release, the artist born Ermias Asghedom was at the pinnacle of his career which included music, acting, his Marathon Agency and store, along with community activism.

Nipsey Hussle is survived by two children, including one with his partner, actress Lauren London.

ORIGINAL STORY: In a developing story, it is reported that Nipsey Hussle has been shot in Los Angeles, California this afternoon (March 31). According to TMZ, who heard the news from several eye-witness sources, the 33-year-old rapper born Ermias Asghedom was attacked with gunfire outside of his Marathon store in the Crenshaw District.

Early reports indicate that the All Money In No Money Out, Inc. founder was struck multiple times. A photo circulating on social media appears to show the Grammy-nominated artist moments before the attack, and on the ground with a blood-stained cloth over his face. After speaking to law enforcement, TMZ reports that three people were struck by shots, and one of the victims has reportedly succumbed to the injuries in a nearby hospital. Hussle opened his store two years ago, where he sells clothing, including his own line as well as exclusive colorways of New Era Roc Nation caps.
